I think I am in love.


Ingredients

1 loaf french bread, cut into 1 inch slices

6 eggs

1 1/2 cup milk

1 cup 1 teaspoon cream or evaporated milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon


Topping

1/2 cup butter - softened

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 walnuts (or pecans!)

1 tablespoon syrup

dash of cinnamon


Preparation Instructions

Spray a 10x14 (or 2 9x13) pan with cooking spray. Arrange bread slices to fill pan. Combine eggs, milk, evaporated milk or cream, vanilla and cinnamon. Pour over bread and refrigerate over night.


Next morning:

Preheat oven to 350. Combine topping ingredietns and spread over bread. Bake 40 minutes. You can either serve it plain, with syrup or powdered sugar (it really doesn’t need any though!) or whipped cream.
