A Day in a Leaf Pile

Share

I had a lot of things planned for today.

HAD a lot of things planned.

I got some of them done, sort of.

The though was that I would get up early, workout and then get a ton of laundry done, clean the back yard and rake leaves since snow is likely around the corner and clean out the truck. Cleaning out the truck, for me, entails pulling all the car seats out, vacuuming both the car seats and the truck seats, pulling the mats out, scrubbing those, vacuuming the whole interior of the truck, scrubbing the seats and treating them with leather stuff, armoraling the dash board and stuff and then washing the outside. I got as far as getting the seats done, and vacuumed. Then we had to leave for gymnastics. I switched Juliette to the next class up from what she was doing so now she has to go on mondays which really cuts into my cleaning day. That’s ok though, I’ll make it work. I also did manage to rake half the yard. I left the other half because I want the leaves on the ground for family pictures (just some quick and dirty ones for our Christmas card) which I will attempt to take with a tripod and a timer.

Should be interesting.

Anyway, so Linus spotted me raking the leaves and wanted to jump in them. Sounded like a good photo opportunity to me and it is so hard to get all three kids together I thought we’d try it. Well, it sorta worked. Really to get Christian to look at a camera I need an assistant. He is the most uncooperative baby when it comes to taking pictures. Oh well, I tried.
