Well, besides doing a ton of dessert baking I played memory with Linus. This has become a highly competitive game in our house because Linus is very good at it. In the beginning we would kind of help him along, give him hints here and there. But now, now he has it figured out and has a bit of a knack for it. The night before the whole family played, I started the game out thinking, this’ll show him. Jeremiah will beat him for sure.
Nope.
We both got creamed by our 4 year old. And not for lack of trying.
So I tried again yesterday morning and lost again.
Oh well. Next time I’ll get him.
I hope.
I’ll post pictures of all our Thanksgiving Day activities in the Albums section. But we had a wonderful day. It was really nice not to have to clean my house since we had dinner at our friend’s Craig and Rebecca’s house. She also did the whole dinner! Awesome. That left me to get creative with the desserts, which I did. Jeremiah’s sister Natalie and her boyfriend, John, came down to give thanks with us and it was so good to see them!
