King Crab was on sale!!!!!! I wait all year, every year, for this event. I love king crab, it is so good! So last week as I was going through the grocery store ad I saw that the crab was officially on sale for the week so I up and ordered 2 pounds of it. Which I wasn’t sure would be enough for all of us, but you never really know what the kids are going to do, after all, it’s been entire year since they ate it and I didn’t want to buy too much. So I settled on 2 pounds. Thankfully it was the perfect quantity. The kids all loved it too!

 

Ingredients

2 pounds Alaska King Crab

1/2 can beer

1 tablespoon old bay seasoning

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 bay leaf

1 stick butter, melted

 

Preparation Instructions

Place all the ingredients, except the crab, in a large pot. Bring to a boil and then place a steamer basket in the pot and add the crab. Steam the crab for 10 minutes. Serve immediately with melted butter.
