Jen’s Baked French Toast

I think I am in love.

When we lived in Ohio we were friends with a couple from our church, Nate and Jen, and I was getting some other recipes from Jen before we moved (before the advent of Facebook – or at least before we knew about it) since I didn’t know if I would ever see her again (we are friends on Facebook now!) because she had this buffalo chicken dip that is to die for and we knew we couldn’t live life without it and she gave me this recipe as well, knowing we would like it.

Boy, do we?!

It is amazing. I love that you can whip it up totally quick-like the night before. Slice, mix, dump. Super easy. Then the next morning you do the hardest part, which is to mix up the topping. It’s not even hard, still very easy to do. Then you bake it.

Plus, who wants to stand over the stove making french toast a couple pieces at a time?

Although I will admit I have a killer recipe for that kind of french toast as well (maybe I’ll post it eventually).

The last time I made it when my oldest had a sleepover with a friend and the kids ate a fair amount, but I just left it out on the counter and snacked on it ALL. DAY. LONG.

Seriously, I think it was about the only thing I ate all day until dinner.

Talk about eating healthy….I probably didn’t work out either…

No worries, I don’t do stuff like that very often 😉

But this stuff is crazy delish. You should totally make it.
