So I know this is a blog entry that sounds like it might be a recipe, but it’s not. I used the Pumpkin Pancake recipe from the breakfast section. So nothing new, I just wanted to make sure everyone knows about these tasty little things. So a few years ago I acquired a filled pancake pan from Williams-Sonoma. LOVE it. Here is a picture:
I have done a few different flavor combinations. This most recent was the pumpkin pancake and I shoved 4 milk chocolate chips in the center as they were cooking and they melted into wonderful, chocolate-y melty-ness.
But I have also done regular pancakes and just stuck some blueberry or cherry pie filling it or then there was the one I did last year at Christmas, Sticky, Toffee Filled Pancakes, you make a toffee sauce and a date stuffing and Mmmmmm, it is sumptuous.
