Andes Mint Chips

Share

Really? Was it really necessary for these to be made? Much less sold freely at the grocery store.

I mean seriously.

I bought a bag of these before we left for Washington without really having a plan for them. I knew they would be good so it didn’t really matter. I just knew I needed them.

My sister hates saying she needs something because probably 95% of what most people purchase at the store is something they want, not need.

But I did actually need these.

So they sat in the cupboard waiting for a purpose and then I ended up being so busy before leaving that I didn’t do anything with them.

Then I got to the above mentioned sister’s house and her lovely husband went to Whole Foods and got goat milk for Christian and Andes Mint Chips. Actually I cannot say for certain that he purchased them at Whole Foods, but I know he was there for the milk.

Anyway, somehow they ended up opened and I started eating them.

I nearly ate the entire bag.

Then we opened the second bag.

Oh my word.

This was happening at the same time my sister was making Almond Roca.

It was bad.

Really bad.

Then I came home to discover my bag still in my baking cupboard.

I keep finding myself actually HIDING from my children to sneak handfuls.

I probably should just sit down this evening and eat the whole bag and get it over with.

And next time I will buy the little bar ones. They at least have wrappers on them.
